Great Yarmouth’s Finding Emerson Foto Festival began in 2021 as a collaboration between Utter Nonsense and originalprojects;. The aim was to place Great Yarmouth firmly within the history of photography and the pioneering work of the 19th century photographer Peter Henry Emerson.
A poster design; postcard design; and short video were commissioned to appeal to a wider audience and showcase a different way of bringing photography together. The photographic resources, taken in Great Yarmouth, were from the works of Peter Henry Emerson, Mark Cator and the artist.
The film was commissioned by Utter Nonsense and original projects;
'Totally love it! It brings together so many elements and gets away from all that serious stuffy apparel of photographic festivals'.
Mark Cator, Co-Founder, Finding Emerson Foto Festival
