The Rehearsal + The Reclamation

The Rehearsal + The Reclamation trace a journey from playful experimentation to confident embodiment of the monstrous feminine. In these works, I step in front of the camera, dressing up and inhabiting shifting identities, part goddess, part monster, part trickster. What begins as tentative play becomes a reclamation of power, where sweetness and menace coexist, and the act of performance transforms into presence.
Both videos celebrate becoming messy, unsettling, and defiantly alive, using humour, seduction, and strangeness as strategies to disrupt expectations of how women should look or behave.
