My fascination with Agatha Christie began when I lived on the English Riviera, in Devon. The famous crime writer was born in Torquay and lived in Greenway during her later years. There, I was inspired to study her life story and found it just as interesting as her books and developed a 12-piece collection of digital collages over the years.
Agatha, a life of ladders and snakes includes the continuous nightmares of a gunman, early years with imaginary friends and a crash resulting in a loss of memory. The collages capture these moments in time, incorporating the ups and downs of her life, revolving around a series of stairs.
The series has expanded and travelled across England and America, visiting the Empire State Building Building, Agatha's home in Greenway and many solo and group exhibitions and international Art Fairs, but it has mostly felt at home at the famous Art Deco hotel at Burgh Island, where she wrote two of her novels.
The 12-piece collection is a limited edition of 20 with the larger piece Daydreamer as an edition of 7. All prints are available to buy.
